School systems are using a three tiered system of supports to fit the needs of all students. Tier II and Tier III supports will help with students who need intervention and have not shown success with the curriculum. The attached sheets are quick methods to document student accommodations and interventions in the classroom. I find it the most easiest way to gather DATA on a student. I can readily have a clipboard in hand and check off how I helped my student and then if required later quickly put this in a software program. After collecting data on many students and trying to teach at the same time I really do find hard copy is the quickest, most accurate, way to gather data on students who need extra support. Also, attached is a list that may help you when gathering data on your students.
