Students can practice their math facts and quiz themselves with these Self-Checking Math Fact Cards. My students have had lots of fun using these to practice their math facts. In fact, one class called them their “Magic Math Cards” because they “magically” revealed the answers!
To use the task cards, put your thumb on the dot of the number you’d like to multiply or divide and pinch that corner. Flip the card over and read the answer near your finger.
For example, with the 5 card (on the multiply side), if you pinch the 7 corner, flip it over, you'll find 35. Practice reading it as 7x5=35.
Likewise, if you start on the division side and pinch the 35 corner, you'll flip it over to find 7. You can read that as 35÷5=7.
As students get faster using the cards, you'll see their math facts improve with time!
