Prior Learning: Students have been introduced to expressing preferences, sports and hobbies, and vocabulary for TV and movies.
Learning Objectives:Students will be able to recognize musical instruments and genres of popular Hispanic music.

Materials Used: anticipatory set, guided notes, guided and independent practice, closure*, vocabulary list, answer keys, (Closure requires playlist for music samples. Teacher should select songs and music they find appropriate for each age level.)
