This blank flip book is perfect for classes that are looking to do an inquiry-based history project on explorers.
It is designed as a way to organise research, findings, and insights on ONE explorer. It contains several prompts and questions, including spaces for sketching/drawing and/or posting photos. There is also a small blank world map that may be used for labeling and plotting the journey of the explorer.
The flip book has 12 pages in total once printed and assembled. It only needs 3 pieces of paper to print ONE book (need to print back-to-back). You can print on plain white copy paper or coloured paper. Printing and assembly instructions are included in the PDF document.
This resource is optimised for printing on A4 size paper. You may need to adjust settings and/or trim paper when printing on other sizes.
In the Australian Curriculum, this is the target standard for this resource:
The journey(s) of AT LEAST ONE world navigator, explorer or trader up to the late eighteenth century, including their contacts with other societies and any impacts (ACHASSK084)
