FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL ACTIVITY!

MY NEW CLASSMATES SCOOT GAME and 4 NEW FRIENDS INTERVIEW

allows students to get to learn names, get to know each other and also bring home their list of friends' names for wonderful communication opportunities with their families!

Years ago a parent told me that her first grader was excited about meeting some new friends in class, but was having trouble remembering names. Ever since then, I have always done a Friends Activity where students bring home their new friends' names. This fosters better communication at home when families ask students about their new class!

Now I have turned our activity into a Scoot Game and Interview opportunity that is Common Core Aligned for Speaking and Listening Standards!
