This activity will require students to closely interact with the text of Act III of Macbeth. This activity is organized by scene and includes "hints" of the quotation that is being referenced. For example, in Scene 2, one of the clues reads, "Find the line(s) that shows that Lady Macbeth is presently unhappy with her new title as Queen of Scotland (you know what they say about karma, right?). Students must then refer to the text to cite the quotation that is being described. This activity not only promotes close reading, but it also serves as a comprehensive study guide for students reviewing Act III as a whole.
