This worksheet, to be used after students finish reading Act V of Macbeth, requires students to answer five questions about Macbeth's last soliloquy.
The questions ask students to identify the metaphors that Macbeth uses to describe life, the main points of the soliloquy, and the feelings that evokes for them. Furthermore, the students have to write their own metaphor for life and explain how it compares to the imagery that Macbeth uses.
The included key provides answers for questions 1-3. Student answers to questions 4-5 will vary.
