Macbeth: These three exercises are perfect to use when you've finished an act or the whole play. Students can collaborate and create to explore and demonstrate their understanding of the play.
The first exercise, a "write-around", groups students together to explore seven different questions about the play. They will respond individually, then add to and refute each other's points.
The second activity asks students to "tweet" their understanding of character (on paper). Fifteen character combinations and scenarios are included.
Finally, students can create character collages to illustrate their understanding of the character development of the major players. If you're interested, this activity is available digitally as well. Click HERE
to check it out.
Rubrics are included for the second and third activity.
