The ultimate extension of learning is a clearly written explanation of what you have learned and understand. Use this summative assessment to measure your student's understanding of the plot, characters, symbols, motifs, and themes of Macbeth.
This set contains a constructed response prompt requiring students to use evidence and commentary in order to explain the driving action of the drama. Students must correctly identify character's motivations as they are aligned with the major themes of the play. The prompt allows for individual student choice, consideration, and comprehension; it is suitable for use with any Macbeth unit and is flexible enough to be addressed by nearly all learner ability levels.
In addition to the prompt itself, this set also contains a supporting organizer that guides students in identifying appropriate quotes from the text to use as evidence. An answer key is provided.
