After reading Act I and Act II of Macbeth, use this lesson to assess their understanding of the first two parts of the play AND their analysis of the dagger scene.
In this resource, students will:
-have some silent reading time
-complete a quiz on Act I and II
-answer comprehension questions about Act II with a partner
-do a group/partner activity on different interpretations of the dagger scene (video from YouTube)
-analyze the scene individually in a close-reading activity
-demonstrate their understanding in a closure response
