This booklet is a research task for students (titled for Year 9 students however appropriate for Years 10-12) before they begin studying Shakespeare's . Students are to answer the questions in the booklet through research (either online or books).
This acts as a way for students to educate themselves on the Shakespearean context, with students research into the areas of: witches and witchcraft, kingship and betrayal, executions and punishment, crime violence and murderers, the globe and theatre-going, and Shakespeare's language.
This booklet can be used as a formal assessment piece, homework or study.
This can take 2-4 lessons to complete, depending on the desired complexity of answers. Students also have the option of once finishing the booklet, turning sections into a PowerPoint presentation or speech.
