This is an engaging and effective activity to use before you begin teaching Macbeth:
Use these stations to activate students’ prior knowledge about some of the themes of the play. At each one, they will consider ideas that relate to their own lives, allowing you to set the stage for making real-life connections as you study Macbeth. They will do quick-writes to explore their thoughts; then, they will have a small group discussion.
Topics covered in the stations:
• Peer Pressure
• Fate, etc.
