This _Macbeth_ resource packet includes a quotation reading guide containing significant quotations from the drama. The left side of the page includes 16 quotations from Act I, 13 from Act II, 14 from Act III, 15 from Act IV, and 13 from Act V. The right side of the page is blank so that students have room to record notes on the quotations that depict key moments and themes of the text. I created this resource to guide classroom discussion on the play. Quotations include act, scene, and line numbers from the Folger edition of _Macbeth_. A list of literary terms and their definitions from M.H. Abrams’, _A Glossary of Literary Terms_ is included as these terms are on both the Act I Quiz and on the _Macbeth_ Objective Test. Three quizzes are included in this resource packet. The first is an Act I quiz comprised of 12 multiple choice, 5 identify the speaker, one short answer, and 10 literary terms matching questions. The second quiz included assesses Acts II and III; it includes 10 true or false, 8 multiple choice, and 10 identify the speaker questions. The final quiz on Acts IV and V contains 20 true or false, 10 identify the speaker, and 5 chronological order questions. A final 100 question objective test is also included. The test contains character identification, quotation identification, multiple choice questions, literary term matching, a dead or alive section, and a chronological order section. I have included 2 versions of the test with the same questions in different orders. Answer keys are included for all assessments. If you would like a copy of these resources as a Word file, please let me know.
