Product Description
Goal: The goal for this seminar is to establish an intricate, sophisticated understanding of a Shakespearean work. You must focus on the rhetorical choices, characterization, and themes throughout the text.

Directions: Each group will be designated questions to answer and will also be performing either a monologue, soliloquy, or extended dialogue from the play and act it out with appropriate emotionality and sense of empathy. After doing so the whole group must analyze the language within the piece and discuss the importance of the section with the group.

**This assessment can be used after reading Macbeth and asks for higher level, critical thinking skills from your students.

**Discussion questions and a rubric are attached to the assignment. This assignment can be manipulated for a specific class.
