Absolutely the BEST thing I have purchased on TeachersPayTeachers!!!
Where did you find the time to create this assessment?! You did a phenomenal job!!! This is one of the best Common Core teacher made assessments that I have seen!!!!!!
This is an amazing resource! I have always felt that making challenging and thorough tests are a weakness of mine. After teaching Macbeth for the past three years, I was happy to be able to add reading passages (I was able to make multiple versions consisting of 5 different passages each) to the sections of my test that were already strong or relevant to our class discussions. This is a fantastic way to see if the students are actually able to interpret the literature and to prepare them for final exams. Thank you for creating this!
This is excellent! I have been looking for a multiple-choice quiz for Macbeth that goes over and above pure content - one that actually gets them to think and (re)-analyze text. And this is it! Any chance of one for Lord of the Flies, King Lear, and To Kill a Mockingbird?
I was able to pick and choose questions as needed! This was helpful for short assessments, longer assessments, and skill practice. This was a helpful time saver for me!
Many, many blessing on you and the task you have undertaken. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have just saved me so much time and effort. Thank you again.
This is amazing. I use it over and over -- I've broken up sections and added them to my quizzes and I've pulled a few for my final Macbeth test. Thank you for this!
There are at least two excerpts from each act of the play presented like a script with all stage directions, speakers' names, and numbered lines.
This test bank is editable so that you can use any portion of it at any time to do the following:
1. Make multiple versions of the unit test in case students are absent.
2. Make multiple versions of the test for variety for different class periods.
3. Give students a quiz after each act of the play by selecting only those excerpts and questions.
4. Use the questions that accompany one excerpt for standardized test preparation such as the AP Exam or End-Of-Course testing.
5. Choose which questions you'd like to use for various students or class periods based on difficulty.
There are enough questions here so that you can assess every aspect of the play such as literary devices, character development, Shakespeare's language, etc. Just use what you need at any given time!
