Product Description
A fun way to get your students thinking about the terms related to macromolecules. These rhyming riddles use information in a creative way that gets students to think a little more in depth about the topic.

Example riddle: "My elements are in a ratio of 1:2:1; I give you a short burst of energy and then I’m done. What am I?"
Answer: Carbohydrate

This worksheet includes 5 original riddles for students to solve then gives space for students to come up with their own riddles. What I did in my class was have students work on the worksheet individually and then when everyone finished coming up with their own riddles, they swapped papers with a classmate and had to solve their classmates riddles. After everyone finished solving the riddles students shared their favorite riddle with the class.
