This is a fill-in-the-blank Word document in a grid format. The four classes of macromolecules are represented in the columns at the top; the rows represent the composition, sub-units, examples, uses and identification tests. I usually project this blank grid onto my Promethean board or a whiteboard. The students have their own copy, and we fill it in together. This gives the students additional information to supplement and reinforce what they've already learned about macromolecules.
