In this activity, students work in small group to fill out a Mad Libs. Their results population as an acceptance speech for a filmmaking or acting award. Their acceptance speech is 23 lines which connect to the 23 different camera shots. Students must use all 23 different camera shots throughout their script/film. After students finish putting their film together, they will be quizzed over the 23 camera shots. The camera shots in the quiz correspond with the examples on the Google Sheet.
Resources include: a copy of a Mad Libs Google Form (results will populate into a Google Sheet), screencasted directions for setting up autoCrat, a copy of the "acceptance speech" built for the Mad Libs responses, a spreadsheet with definitions and examples of various camera shots, and a Google Form camera shots quiz.
