I have struggled to find a fluency assessment that gets progressively more challenging for my students, so I made one!
Included are 6 tests, which each have three versions.
The purpose of each version is so the students cannot memorize the order of the facts and/or to give students different tests sitting near each other.
1 Multiplication facts 0, 1, 5, & 10
2 Multiplication facts 2, 3, & 4
3 Multiplication facts 6, 7, & 8
4 Multiplication facts 9, 11, & 12
5 Mixed Multiplication facts & Division facts 1, 2, 3, 4
6 Mixed Multiplication & Division facts
I give the students one minute to complete the 36 fluency questions.
Then, they graph their score on the included graph. The graph includes growth mindset - goal setting questions for the students to answer. Once they pass a level, they get a new graph.
Also included are the answer sheets for easy grading.
