Product Description

Do you want to improve your students' multiplication fact fluency? These multiplication times table mad minutes are a fun and engaging way to help elementary students improve their fact fluency for the 0-12 times tables (organized by individual times table and mixed practice!). They also serve as a great warm-up activity at the beginning of math! Most importantly, this product fosters student goal setting through independent graphing and data tracking. This product would be a great addition to existing student data binders and other daily goal setting activities.

Included in this product:

*40 half sheet mad minutes with 30 problems on each sheet (multiplication by times table and multiplication times table mixed problems)—each mad minute increases with difficulty as a student progresses!

*2 options (color and B&W) for cover pages to create a mad minute booklet

*6 different options to track and graph student progress that include variations in how to use mad minutes in the classroom (ex: as sprints, as daily warm-ups, daily competitions)

*8 options (color and B&W) for mad minute awards when students complete or pass levels

NOTE: Please be aware that for the multiplication mad minutes, the first 12 problems on each half page are written in numerical order. (Check this out in the preview.) My thinking behind putting the first 12 problems in numerical order is two-fold: first, to give students the opportunity to feel successful with identifying the skip-counting patterns in multiplication and second, as a data point to see which students are relying heavily on the patterns versus which students truly have automaticity with their facts with the remaining 18 problems. This resource is not editable at this time.
