The newest installment of the Expanding Language Series. In this activity, students again become detectives as they learn about what things are made of. Let your little detectives go wild in this hands-on activity that, in my experience, is a huge hit!
Included in this download are pages describing the different materials that things are made of: Rubber, Metal, Wood, Paper, Glass, Plastic, Fabric, and Cells.
This activity does require more preparation than previous activities, (i.e., gathering materials and cutting a hole in the top of a shoe box,) but, for my students, it was TOTALLY worth it!
