This 20 question exam assesses students knowledge of Beethoven, Bach, Gershwin, and Mozart after a 4 week period of studying their Biographies from the book "Lives of the Composer - The Good, The Bad, and What the Neighbors Thought of Them". The last section of the exam requires students to listen to examples and write down who they thought wrote it from the 4 composers - it is up to the teacher's discretion to choose the example and level of difficulty. There is also a section that assesses if students know the difference between a sonata, a concerto, and a symphony. This quiz also includes a teacher's answer key.
