The crown always goest to the ladybug with the most beauty spots so you better get to earning some spots! Luckily all your friends are willing to lend you one of their spots for the contest.
Players must start at the plain ladybug, and make their way to the crown by rolling the dice. When a students lands on a space, they must pick a game card. For each card, the student must read all three words correctly, use one of the words in a sentence, and rhyme one of the words in order to add a spot to their wings. The ladybug with the most beauty spots by the end of the game wins!
In this Smarten-Up file folder game, students will have plenty of practice reading their magic E words while playing a super cute and amazingly motivating game. Students will use their math skills to compare the number of their spots to their peers.
* Print additional blank ladybugs so that each student has his/her own. Students can make their beauty spots in any shape they prefer (circles, stars, hearts, etc).
