This is a basic novel study for Mary Pope Osborne's novel, "The Knight at Dawn." It reviews the basic events and connections to the Middle Ages for each chapter. Students can independently or as a whole group complete multi-choice questions after each chapter. Students are also asked to make a prediction for each chapter as they read either independently or as a whole group. This novel study is to support the learning about The Middle Ages. It was written for special education, slower paced learning students and does not require too much written work. It will give you an excellent understanding of your students' abilities to read/listen for details when independently reading or during a read-aloud group activity.
