This is a novel study I created to accompany Mary Pope Osborne's "Midnight on the Moon." The study addresses several common core standards which are listed on the second page in the preview. Each page (one chapter per page) has 3-5 vocabulary words that the students must define using context clues. It also has 4-5 questions for each chapter that encourages higher order thinking. At the end of the study, I have created and included a Venn diagram to compare Jack and Annie. Students then tell which character they think they are most like. A story map is also included. This is a great way to incorporate science standards using literature! The kids love it!
