If you havent yet met Jack and Annie and traveled with them through time and space via their Magic Treehouse, then youve missed out on an informative series of science fiction adventures written by Mary Pope Osborne for first through fourth grade students. This unit consists of 11 worksheets that starts by asking the reader to recall/familiarize him or herself with Jack and Annies earlier adventures. Each chapter in the book is followed by a page of questions specific to it. At the end of the unit students are asked to compare Annie and Jacks character traits as well as the two very different settings of Frog Creek, Pennsylvania, and the Ice Age. This unit makes reading Sunset of the Sabertooth an educational and enjoyable activity!
