The Magical "e" game was created to help students distinguish between long and short vowels. This game features long and short vowel "a". After you laminate and cut out the star's and word cards students can begin learning. Students read the word card and then add the magic 'e' to form a new magical word. This can be used for centers or small groups. Students really enjoy this activity, especially when they get to hold the magical wand. There is also a worksheet that you can use for assessment at centers.
