This magnetism review and assessment align with the NC SCOS/Common Core standards. Students review the vocabulary terms attract, repel, magnetic field, magnetism, and magnetic poles through "Find Someone Who." This activity requires students to walk around the room with their sheet, finding someone who can correctly answer the review questions. Sample question: Find someone who can identify the meaning of magnetic field.
The assessment covers all the previously mentioned vocabulary, as well as describing the difference between attract and repel, illustrating a magnetic field, and describing how magnetism affects motion.
