Posters for your classroom with an introduction to magnets. Black and White and Color versions both included.
There is a recording sheet with Prediction and Results of experimenting with magnets. Students predict which items the magnet will attract and which items will repel. After experimenting, students record their findings. For experimenting, I put magnets out on tables with a variety of items that will repel and attract. Students worked cooperatively testing each of the objects.
Then, there is a cut and glue activity where students look at objects and decide if they will repel or attract to the magnet.
The magnet superhero craft includes different types of magnets. Students get to write their own superhero description of a magnet. Example, Magnets are stronger than a ..., More powerful than a..., etc.
