Product Description
At the end of our 2nd Grade Unit for magnets, I wanted to see what the children remembered about their learning. We spent a week investigating magnets, experimenting, and watching Bill Nye's video on magnets. Later, we used this sheet to discuss these facts to complete a nonfiction writing assignment about magnets.

This can be done with a partner, as a group, or individually. I personally like for them to start for the first 5-10 minutes on their own, the meet up with a partner to finish up the worksheet. It gives them a safety net and pushes them to articulate their learning in words, while also being a good listener.

It can also be given as a homework assignment and turned in for assessment.
