Magnets and Electricity: Poster Activity
Working on a magnets and electricity unit? .....
Let your students express what they've learned about magnets and electricity by using this 8.5 x 11 rain forest poster. This poster will look great hanging outside your classroom or on a bulletin board in your classroom, and parents will enjoy reading them when they are sent home.
Please note that this topic is studied at different grade levels depending on what state you live in. Here in GA, it is the 5th grade.
The poster activity has plenty of places for students to add their own creative touches with color. Please look at what is included on the poster and decide if it is suitable for your grade, as I am marking it for grades 3-5.
The sections for the students to fill out are:
*Place for their name
* Title "Magnets and Electricity"
*Something interesting I learned...
*Name things that repel a magnet, attract a magnet...
*What is the difference between insulators and conductors
*What is the difference between a series circuit and parallel circuit
Please note that the frame boxes are not huge, but they should allow for enough space to answer the questions asked.
Use as a center activity or even as morning work. Use it in your classroom however you would like.
