Give students the practice they need with identifying the main idea of a nonfiction paragraph with these digital task cards! Students access the task cards through their own Google account. Or, you can use them from your Google account and project them for a quick, whole class activity.
There are 16 task cards included, along with a student response sheet (this gets printed out). Students write the main idea for each paragraph, as well as 3 supporting details.
*** The content of these task cards is the same as the content of my Main Idea Task Cards Set 2 paper edition.
Digital task cards work well with Google accounts. Simply follow the link given in the directions, make a copy of the task cards to your own account, and then share your copy with your students.
Since many classrooms are going 1:1 with iPads and Chromebooks, these task cards are perfect to help you engage your students in real learning. If you are not 1:1 yet, use these task cards as a center or early finish activity, or assign the project and allow students to share the devices you have in your room.
