Your students will read four passages related to Martin Luther King. For each passage, they will answer two multiple choice questions.
The first question is "Which of the following sentences best states the main idea of the passage?"
The second question is "Which would be the best title for this passage?"
I have found that my students struggle with this type of question on multiple choice tests because in some ways it is somewhat subjective what the best title would be. Therefore, I included a DETAILED ANSWER KEY that explains why a certain answer is the best title for the passage.
You can either give your students the entire package of 4 worksheets, or you can give them the pages 1 at a time.
