A “Get The Facts” religion chart gives a basic factual view of Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Give each student a completed chart. The chart has been designed to be discussed by the teacher while the students study their own charts, taking additional notes. After the class discussion, give each student
a Comparison Activity sheet to complete using the Get the Facts Chart. All the answers to the activity sheet can be found on the chart which forces the student to use the information they were given.
A list of supplementary suggested movies is included
Covering the basics should take two classes. Further activities will increase the duration depending on whether they are assigned as in-class or homework.
