Created to be used with 2.NBT.B.6 and 2.NBT.B.7 lessons during math center rotations.
How to Play:
1. Work with a partner. Take turns to choose a number card and decide where to place it on your Tens and Ones board.
***Your goal is to get as close to 100 as possible by creating 4 two- digit numbers.***
2. Keep going until you each have 4 two-digit numbers on your Tens and Ones board.
3. Add your numbers.
(Add your numbers by using the “make 10’s strategy or place value strategy” on white boards, using base 10 blocks, or coins.)
4. The player whose sum is closest to 100 scores a point for the round.
5. Play another round.
