This tried-and-true activity can be used similarly to a “barrier” game” where the student is asked to give directions (including prepositional phrases!) to help the clinician match the location of 8 objects in the big scene to the same locations as in the smaller scene. Language targets may include: in front, behind, beside, above/over, on, in and between.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: This PowerPoint activity is not intended for use as “Slide Show” as you need to be able to manipulate (click and drag) items on the screen. Adjust the size and location of the ‘small scene’ as needed. When closing out of this document, keep in mind that if you “save changes” it may permanently alter the activity. Because this PowerPoint is sold as an editable (.pdf) document, we recommend you save a version in a safe place to avoid this mistake.
NO PRINT / NO PREP / TELEPRACTICE & IN PERSON
