PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The year is 400 C.E. and your students are artisans who live in the Gupta Empire in ancient India. The king has just hired your students to create currency that reflects the culture and achievements of the Gupta Empire.

The purchased product includes a detailed direction sheet with seven requirements, suggested topics and a one-page rubric, along with four currency templates (1/2 page and full page options). The product also includes a two-page chart to help students understand the currency of the United States Dollar and a teacher answer key.

Your students will love this project! Even though their illustrations and writing must be based on evidence, there is a lot of room for creativity.
