Students will learn and practice addition and subtraction to 5 quantitatively using the equal sign with these hands on activities. Dot and domino patterns and words build conceptual and quantitative understanding first. The activities move to more symbolic representations when students are ready. You can provide your students with a strong conceptual and quantitative foundations with the Make It Equal activities.
The Make It Equal activities are divided into four levels with many lessons in each level. Each level can be purchased individually. Depending on the level of students, teachers can choose to spend as little or as much time as needed on each lesson/level:
