Description

This is the perfect addition to the classic classroom experiment! If you plan to do the experiment where you place shaving cream over a cup of water and have students drop blue water over the "cloud," this printable compliments it well.

This also sneaks in a little math into your science experience. Students can predict how many drops it will take to "rain," and later write how many it actually took. To make it a challenge for older students, I also had them use tally marks as they counted how many drops it took.

As a way to help incorporate writing, there is also a section at the bottom for writing what the students learned after completing the experiment.
