Give students lots of practice reading short a words. Perfect for a literacy center!
First, students cut out the letters at the bottom of the front page. Then students move the four letters around between the four rimes, reading and re-reading the words they make as they determine the correct placement of the four letters to make four real words. Some puzzles have more than one correct combination.
On the back side, students write the four words they created, then either stamp or write the words in two colors, and finally draw a picture to go with their words.
There are 8 different front pages included.
