Make time to have fun in Math class!
This resource is a PDF containing 20 fun tasks for Making Ten.
The tasks incorporate a variety of fun objects such as aliens, animals, robots, and racecars to interest students.
These tasks work in a variety of ways, and here are a few suggestions:
*Use the shorter tasks as stations for a scoot-around-the-room activity.
*Use the longer tasks as self-directed centers.
*Use them to support small group instruction.
*Use them as artifacts for a student portfolio.
*Use them to differentiate as some tasks offer greater challenges.

Also included with this resource is a link to my first mobile device platform game called "Make Ten." Students can play this game from tablets, desktops, laptops, and smartphones (The music won't play on an iPad for some reason, and I haven't yet figured out why).
As with all the resources I have available, this file has been created by a veteran teacher dedicated to the philosophy of promoting math fluency and skill mastery through fun!
Thanks for looking!
