Get ready for your students to be authors! Read Across America Week is a perfect week to have your students write and illustrate their very own Dr. Seuss inspired book!

Inspired by Dr. Seuss' "There's a Wocket in my Pocket", this printable book will be so much fun! Your student will have a blast making up there own silly rhymes as they fill in the blanks in this printable book about the things that are in their school!

There's a ___________ in my Classroom!
Did you ever have the feeling there’s a ___________ in the school?
Or a ____________ in the hall.
Or a ____________ upon the wall.

Each word that needs to be rhymed is highlighted in yellow.

You can either walk students through the book, or have older students just fill it in when they have extra time throughout the week.

When you are all done share your silly rhymes with the entire class or have a poetry party and have your students read to their parents!
