Story Problem Cards
Make your own story problems
Print out the cards on cardstock, cut out, and laminate.
Numbers go one one color, add/subtract go on a second color, and multiply/divide go on a third.
Addition/subtraction have the chevron background and multiplication/division have the striped background to tell them apart.
Students pick a story problem and pick 1 or 2 number cards to solve the problem.
*If the student is working on lower numbers you could have them roll a dice to pick the numbers to mix it up.
**The division cards need to pick more specific numbers. If One number is already included and the second number needs to be a multiple of that number. Ex. If the card includes the number 3 then the blank number needs to be a multiple of 3 (3, 6, 9, 12, etc.).
