Make a Friend Interview
In the beginning of the school year it is so important to allow students to make connections
with each other and get to know one another to create a friendly, cooperative learning environment
to last the whole school year. I love to use this interviewing activity to break the ice and allow all my kiddos
to get to know their classmates in a fun way.
This packet includes a page of interview questions for the kids to ask each other and
write down responses. This page has a place for a picture of the child being interviewed.
You can have the children draw a picture, or take pictures with a camera and glue them onto the pages.
This packet also includes a fun and easy way for the partners to make friendship
bracelets when they are done with their interviews.
You can have them present their friend to the class and tell everyone about the information
they found out, or you can save the papers for doing little
spotlights on random kids during class meetings or at the end of the day.
