If you've ever seen Seurat's "Sunday Afternoon" in person, you realize that it's HUGE, making all the tiny dots even more impressive. So I tried to duplicate that effect here. I gave my kids one slice of the picture to complete using pointillism. Then I glued it all together. The painting doesn't line up 100% perfectly, but it's close enough to get the effect. The final product fit perfectly on one of the big cardboard project foldouts you can get at the dollar store.
