Product Description
Students will practice problem solving with this differentiated set of questions. Each questions is written large so it can be posted on chart paper. I included an example of chart of what the expectation is. 3 questions are categorized into low (triangle), middle (square), and high (circle) levels so all students can have success at practicing the make a ten strategy. This also includes a teacher model questions.

Great for grades one and two students. Created specifically for a lesson on making a ten to introduce regrouping.

This set of cards also includes an Accountable Talk discussion prompt card to elicit conversation among students. I suggest attaching one accountable talk card to each chart so students have a clear understanding of the expectations regarding communications amongst group members.

Differentiation Key:
Pink Triangle (Low)
Blue Square (Middle)
Purple Circle (Square)
