This activity will help your students sharpen their computer skills as well as asking them to dig a little deeper as they analyze the character traits of their favorite literary characters. Once a student has determined what literary character they want to analyze, they will use PowerPoint to create a vanity license plate that refers to a character trait or event associated with the literary or historical character. This product is designed to work well in a technology specials class or in the regular classroom. It’s also ideal assignment for the Classroom Teacher and Technology Specialist to collaborate!

Standard 4 Reading: Literature
•4.3 Describe in depth a character, setting, or event in a story or drama, drawing on specific details in the text (e.g., a character's thoughts, words, or actions).
