This game helps students practice equal equations. The blue deck is placed face down on the draw pile. The yellow deck can be evenly passed out among 2-4 players or one person can play by themselves. A blue card is then turned over and placed on the board. A matching yellow equation must then be place on the board, making the whole equation true. For example, if a blue card says 5-1, then a yellow card, equaling 4 must be placed on the other side. i.e. 5-1=2+2.
There are 20 sets of matching cards (20 blue, 20 yellow). I suggest backing the cards with colored construction paper before laminating.
