This poster/worksheet can provide your students with a quick reference to using adjectives. The adjective tricks!
Some lessons that accompany this poster...
1) Cut out shapes for each type of adjective and have students fill it in with words. for example, for colors, cut out a giant crayon, pass it around the room, and have each student write down a color that comes to mind. Do the same with A giant shape for shapes, a dog for sizes, a face for feelings, and a shoe for type.
2) Play the adjective game: all students stand up and teacher starts pointing to kids. When teacher points to you, an adjective must be said that has not already been used. Keep going until only 1 student is left. They sit down when they are eliminated.
