Our Makerspace Reading Comprehension Creation Station is intended for Kindergarten-2nd grade students. This resource contains 6 different custom Makerspace tasks that accompany 6 "Listen to Reading" stories with QR codes. The theme of this unit is "September" themed books. The book themes include Fall, apples, and the fair. We included two non-fiction books as well in this unit. The tasks work in a classroom or library Makerspace with any materials...the more creative your students can be, the better!
You can use our Comprehension Creation Station in a variety of ways both in a classroom or library Makerspace: During Literacy Centers/Daily 5 time, morning work, student enrichment for early finishers, or you can even use it for fun, family activities at home!
When students are finished listening to the stories and completing the custom Makerspace tasks, they can complete one of the 10 differentiated, standards-based comprehension worksheets.
**To use this product, students will need access to a QR Code Reader.**
